Step Up For Students – FES
SFLHRC is very happy to announce that we are now a provider (in partnership with Step Up for Students) of services for recipients of the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities (FES-UA) – formerly known as the Gardiner scholarship. This program allows families of qualified children (including homeschoolers) to be reimbursed for qualified expenses, including live instruction in our Marvelous Monday classes.
For more information on the FES-UA, including specific criteria for eligibility and their application process and timeline, please visit the Step Up for Students website at https://www.sufs.org, or contact them directly at 1-877-735-7837.
If you are a current recipient of FES-UA funding and have questions about how to file reimbursement requests, please fill out the contact form below, or email us at: info@sflhrc.com
PLEASE NOTE: Parents using any Step Up / FES funds still need to register and pay for our classes here on the SFLHRC website. Once you have completed registration, please send a copy of your payment receipt to info@sflhrc.com, making sure to note that you are planning to request reimbursement from your FES-UA scholarship funds.
SFLHRC will then send you, within seven (7) business days of receiving your email, an itemized receipt with the registration information required by Step Up For Students. This should then be submitted to Step Up For Students (via their website portal) for reimbursement.
Any additional questions? Feel free to contact us at: info@sflhrc.com
In addition, homeschooling parents who will be eligible to receive 2023-2024 FES-EO/FTC funding as part of a parent-directed Personalized Education Program (PEP) may now be able to apply for reimbursement as well from Step Up For Students.
For more information on how to apply for these programs, please contact Step Up For Students directly.
