Alexandra Ramirez

Yoga and Mindfulness Instructor, SFLHRC

Alexandra “Miss Alex” Ramirez is an experienced youth and adult yoga and meditation instructor, mental health advocate, and mother to an adventurous toddler. She holds a degree in Criminal Justice & Sociology from University of Central Florida and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Yoga Therapy from Maryland University of Integrative Health.

Her certifications include Trauma-Informed Yoga, Children’s Yoga, Adaptive Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Yoga for Athletes, Yoga Nidra, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and she has taught over 2,500 hours of yoga, meditation, and mindfulness. Miss Alex’s educational and lived experiences have inspired her to share the powerful tools of yoga in her community and since 2017, she has woven her spunky and authentic personality into teaching at yoga studios, schools, mental health treatment centers, homeless shelters, assisted living homes, and more. She leads with compassion and enjoys teaching youth how to connect with their Mind and Body in creative and engaging ways.
