Winter 2024 Classes - Ages 6-8
These are our MARVELOUS MONDAY classes for learners ages 6 to 8. You pick and choose which classes you want to enhance your homeschooling program!
9:00AM – 10:00AM: More….Train the Brain
NEW Critical Thinking, Logic Problem Solving, and Strategy Games!
Day and Time: Mondays 9:00AM – 10:00AM
Dates: January 22, January 29, February 5, February 12, February 26, and March 4 (Makeup Date will be March 11 if needed)
Location:Â Tree Tops Park, 3900 SW 100th Ave, Davie, FL 33328-1705
Age Range: 6-8
Instructor: Eva Goldstein-Meola (with two Teacher’s Aides)
Cost: $220.00 (includes all strategy games, handouts, and materials used in class)
Maximum Students: 16
Note: You did NOT need to participate in Fall’s Train the Brain to take Winter’s Train the Brain. Each semester is INDEPENDENT of one another.
Critical Thinking is a set of skills and habits of the mind, including the ability to define a problem, identify assumptions, analyze ideas, and reason not only critically, but systemically.  When done through carefully developed games and scenarios, a child’s visual and auditory recognition, reaction time, and logic problem solving increases TREMENDOUSLY.
During this six-week class, we will engage in exciting logic puzzles, mindbenders, and strategy games that will not only strengthen their memory and concentration but will also develop problem solving strategies that will help them with life! Â
Let’s begin the day by giving their brain a workout!
Additional supplies required (to be purchased by parent and brought to each session):
- A folder with two pockets
- Pencil pouch/box with sharpened pencils, erasers, colored pencils, and three different colored highlighters
10:15AM – 11:15AM: Storybook STEMÂ – Part Two
Day and Time: Mondays 10:15AM – 11:15AM
Dates: January 22, January 29, February 5, February 12, February 26, and March 4 (Makeup Date will be March 11 if needed)

Age Range: 6-8
Instructor: Mor Zrihen (with two Teacher’s Aides)
Cost: $220.00 (includes all craft supplies for projects, handouts, and materials used in class)
Maximum Students:Â 16
Note: You did NOT need to participate in Part One to take Part Two. Each semester is INDEPENDENT of one another.
A literacy-based course that reads through a variety of picture books covering essential skills across the disciplines and includes reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, figurative language, math, science, and engineering – all while incorporating hands-on project-based learning experiences.
Additional supplies required to be purchased by parent and brought to each session:
- Two pocket folder with prongsÂ
- Pencil pouch/box with sharpened pencils, erasers, colored pencils, and three different colored highlighters
- Glue stick
- Scissors
11:30AM – 12:30PM: Wonders of the World – Part Two
Day and Time: Mondays 11:30AM – 12:30PM
Dates: January 22, January 29, February 5, February 12, February 26, and March 4 (Makeup Date will be March 11 if needed)

Join us in a round-the-world adventure, as we discover the Ancient Wonders of the World via virtual field trips! An exciting and educational cross-curricular exploration where we will learn about the history, geography, nature, and significance of: Colossus of Rhodes, Great Pyramids of Giza, Hanging Gardens of Babylon, Statue of Zeus at Olympia, Temple of Artemis at Ephesus, Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, and Lighthouse of Alexandria.
Additional supplies required (to be purchased by parent and brought to each session):
