Exciting News for our Homeschooling Families!

We’re thrilled to announce a new chapter in our homeschooling journey! After over twenty years of teaching, of which the past twelve years have been exclusively online, we’re returning to our roots by introducing a hybrid learning format for our 2025-2026 classes, taught in conjunction between SFLHRC and Open Tent Academy (OTA). 

This means that our online classes will now be taught live simultaneously both online and in-person, allowing for a more dynamic and engaging learning experience for your children, no matter how they participate.

As we refocus on moving into this new format, we’re excited to initially concentrate on our strongest subject areas, which include:

• Writing classes for elementary, middle, and high-school age learners, designed to help your child develop their writing skills and creativity.
• History classes for high schoolers, offering AP and Honors options to challenge and engage your child in the study of history.
• American Government for high schoolers, providing a comprehensive and interactive learning experience that explores the principles and practices of American government.

We’re passionate about providing high-quality education that meets the unique needs of homeschooling families. Our hybrid format and focus on core subjects will enable us to offer a more personalized and effective learning experience for your child. We can’t wait to embark on this new journey with you!
